RADIO PRODUCTION AND PRESENTING
CANNOCK CHASE RADIO
Presenter/Journalist – March 2016 to April 2017

As well as planning four-hour daily breakfast shows, I also ran the journalism output for Cannock Chase Radio. This meant sourcing local news stories and managing the social media pages. The reach of the Facebook page alone currently reaches up to 70,000+ users a week.
I also wrote advertising campaigns for clients, liaising closely and ensuring that a quality advertising campaign was devised that reflected both the company and the local nature of the station. I also created competitions for listeners, produce edited radio packages, and forged links with local organisations, schools and colleges in order to create content, source new talent and increase listener numbers.
SIGNAL 107
Work Experience – July 2013

Collating international, national and local news stories and writing them in order to be relevant to a local radio station, working with NewsBoss and recording the 90 second news.
THE CITY
Presenter – January 2014 to August 2014

Hosting a variety of shows, including the flagship breakfast show. For this I utilised Twitter and a variety of reliable sources to gather the news, ensuring that there were enough discussion points for a two hour show. I also created a number of on-air games to play with co-presenters, guests and listeners.
