WEEKLY GEEK​
I occasionally use my spare time to write, film, present, compile news and discussion points and then edit and upload videos for a show called The Weekly Geek, where we discuss major events in the world of Popular Culture. We have previously linked with www.cultjer.com (with 133K Twitter followers) and I used the available resources to cover the General Election night at Dudley Town Hall for BCTV, as well as performances for the 2015 Artsfest event.
THE THREAD
Organising team projects is also a forte, and it was a pleasure working with a small team of young students to create this short tribute on Sir Jack Hayward. My role in this project was to plot and plan the VO, assigning tasks and supervising the final editing process.
JOURNALISM
Journalism has an important role to play as the 4th Estate, and I feel that this news package highlights a local issue that is under-reported in the local press and of significant interest to the general public.
